GameStop is a US-based retailer of video games and collectibles with a nationwide network of physical stores. It has been operating as a public company (NYSE: GME) since 1999.
The company sells new and pre-owned video games, consoles and accessories for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC gaming and retro consoles. It also sells trading cards (including Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh!), offers a PSA card grading service and sells collectibles such as Funko figures, statues and LEGO, as well as toys, clothing and homewares.
The company also runs a trade-in programme that allows customers to exchange used games, consoles, phones, and electronics for cash or store credit. It also offers a loyalty programme called GameStop Pro and a co-branded GameStop Pro Credit Card.
