Marmot, a well-known outdoor apparel and equipment company, has a rich history rooted in the passion for mountaineering and the outdoors. The company was founded in 1971 by two University of California, Santa Cruz students, Eric Reynolds and Dave Huntley, along with Tom Boyce, a friend from Alaska.
