Lékárna.cz is the first Czech internet pharmacy, founded by PharmDr. Vladimír Finsterle, MBA, in 1999. It was originally launched as an informational portal about medicines. From 2003 onwards, it has operated as a full online store, making it the pioneer of online pharmacy retail in the Czech Republic. The site also claims to be the first internet pharmacy in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
